Katsina PDP Massive Defection| Umar Tata leaves party, more aspirants to leave party


The Katsina People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial aspirant, Umar Abudullahi Tata has denounced his PDP membership.
This was followed by the party’s decision to adopt Senator Yakubu Lado as sole gubernatorial candidate in 2019 general election.

Tata made the revelation on his Facebook was as seen by Katsina Post, accused the Party’s leadership of selfishness in the selection process.
“This proved that the leaders of Katsina PDP are selfish by considering their financial gains not the interest of the masses”
“We have been complaining with the emergence of Masari as Katsina state governor, but Yakubu Lado could be worse than Masari.” He said
Tata however expressed gratitude to his supporters and urged them to remain calm as he decide on joining new party.
Recall that, The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina state has agreed to adopt Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke as its gubernatorial candidate for the 2019 general election.
This was disclosed to newsmen by the Katsina State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri during an emergency press conference at the party’s secretariat.
According to him, the decision by the party was reached after a mock election agreed by the other seven gubernatorial aspirants which took place at the party’s secretariat which had in attendance key party officials and 34 LGA party chairmen.
 Cliqq Magazine also learnt that Arch. Aminu Yar'adua to also leave party including former Katsina state deputy Governor Abdullahi Faskari.
