FIRS Boss Mr.Fowler distributes relief materials to IDP camps in Yola, Numan & Adamawa (Photos)


As part of the its corporate social responsibility, the Executive Chairman Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Babatunde Fowler has distributed relief materials to IDPs in Yola, Numan & Adamawa state.
Fowler who was the Executive Chairman Lagos state board of Internal Revenue and Chief Executive Officer Lagos State Internal Revenue Service before his appointment as the Executive Chairman FIRS.
Mr. Fowler who said the gesture was to show compassion and assist internally displaced people especially in areas affected by the insurgency by Boko Haram.

He commended the efforts of President Buhari’s leadership in fighting and ensuring restoration of security in those affected states.
In attendance were Barrister Sadiq Umar Abdullahi (Sarkin Matasan Hausa) who led the delegation in the distribution of relief materials.
The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the palaces of the Emir’s of the region.
Barrister Sadiq called on other corporate agencies to emulate the good works of Mr. Fowler so as to expand the relief reach out to various IDP camps across the country.
Sadiq Umar explained that the gesture was to alleviate, resolve both ethnic and religious conflicts by catering for the displaced communities in the affected areas.
