Alarming | Reason why 2,050 Katsina Intending Pilgrims May Miss 2018 Hajj


About 2,050 Katsina state intending pilgrims may miss this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia as a result of non-payment of hajj seat in the state.
Hajj Reporters, an online publication for hajj and umra exercise in Nigeria on Friday that the executive Director of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Muhammadu Abu Rimi has said that over 2,750 Intending Pilgrims in the state has so far paid for this year’s Hajj.

“Katsina state pilgrims welfare board received 4,800 hajj seat allocation from the NAHCON and has so far registered over 2, 750 pilgrims.
According to him, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated 4,800 sit to the state for this year’s exercise.
“Katsina pilgrims are about to complete the biometric data capture of its intending pilgrims”.
He said all arrangement have been concluded for the successful airlift of intending pilgrims from Katsina state.
The Executive Director reiterated the readiness of the Board to commence the airlift of intending pilgrims from Katsina state, said very soon the Board will commenced the distribution of uniforms and pilgrims hand bag.
