Katsina Partners Private Sector On Recreational Center To Boost Tourism

The Katsina State Government and the Darassalam Energy and Logistics Limited are finalizing arrangement to build a multi-purpose recreational center in Katsina to  boost the tourism development of the state.

The State Special Adviser for International Relations and Investments, Alhaji Ibrahim Zakari who revealed this  in Abuja, said the project which was meant to open up the uniqueness of the state to the outside world was awaiting the groundbreaking and signing of MoU by Governor Aminu Bello Masari who had allotted enough acres of land for the site.
He said the recreational centre would have standard accommodation, restaurant, fitness center, event center, Lawn tennis court, indoor games, volleyball court and natural landscapes that would boost the cultural potentials of the state.

Also speaking, the Managing Director of Darassalam Energy and Logistics Limited, Prince Abiodun Olunloyo, said, “Once the documents are signed, it will be our obligation to ensure that Katsina town gets a beautiful recreational center that will put the state as first in that region of the country.”
