Katsina State Spent N5billion On Payment Of Gratuity- El-Marzuk


Katsina state government has spent over N5billion on the payment of gratuity in the state.

This was disclosed by the state Attorney General El-marzuk after the state executive council meeting.
El-marzuk stated that the sum of N5billion was spent for the payment of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd batch gratuity beneficiaries in both the state and local government workers.

The Attorney general El-marzuk added that the payment includes all retirees and deceased persons which brings the total number of beneficiaries to 2, 214 retirees.
He further added that a sum of N1.9billion will be spent for the 4th & 5th payment of gratuity after fiscal verification exercise.
