SHARE

Katsina state house of assembly on Monday shut it doors to journalist, islamic religious scholars and other stakeholders who came to witness the presentation of report of the house special committee that investigated the alleged sodomy cases at government technical college Ingawa.

Daily Trust reports that the committee's report presentation was shifted twice and when it was finally billed for presentation today, the assembly converged in a committee of a whole to listen to it.

It was gathered that the decision of the assembly to listen to it behind closed doors may be unconnected to its damning findings and unholy revelations.

The matter has created tension and apprehension in the state since it was brought to the house under matter of urgent public attention.

An alleged foiled attempt to rape a junior student by his senior male colleague started the matter which led to dismissal of not less than 25 students at the college.
